A little background about me

Back in the old days ( 1974) I was just about 6 years old and my parents opened a retail sewing shop called The Place That Sells Sewing Machines on top of the hill Daly City.

I was raised in the shop learning  about sewing machines and this just fascinated me!!

As I got older I began demonstrating, teaching, fixing and selling sewing machines which became my passion  and I continued to work for my parents managing the shop while raising my own babies there until 2007 when they relocated to

Santa Rosa to eventually retire. 

 I  decided to take my love and knowledge of sewing machines along with many years of experience and opened my own shop in Millbrae Aug 2007

It has been my dream to have my own shop and I've enjoyed every day of it, I have made so many new friends through the years and have been able to share my love of sewing with the community.  Though the past few years have been tough with the pandemic I was able to make it through by taking a second job at the

Airlines( the reason or my odd hours) but blessed to have made it through.

I have to say Sewing has made a comeback and this journey is something I wouldn't change for the world!
